Group, Bible school and belonged to the Friendly Hour Group. A pretty wedding took place on Wednesday evening, November 19, when Lillian Emmaline MacCallum, youngest daughter of Irving and

Lillian(Johnson)MacCallum of MacCallum's Settlement, was united in marriage to Pte.Harold Oscar Murray son of Gordon and Alma(Reid) Murray of North River. Rev.J.K.MacInnes of Truro, N.S. performed the ceremony.

The bride looked charming in a dress or blue sheer with navy accessories. She was attended by her sister, Miss Violet MacCallum, and the groom by his brother, Herman Murray. The brides' gift to the bridesmaid was a gold locket.

A reception was held for the couple at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Blair, North River. Many useful and beautiful gifts were received. The couple plan to reside at Halifax where the groom is stationed.
